  1. When you ask a dog what their name is, ask the owner too.
  2. Become a regular at a local coffee shop and continue to refer to the cup sizes by their Starbucks nicknames. Remember, it’s a tall coffee, not a 12 oz. coffee.
  3. Avoid buying books on Amazon and instead walk into an Amazon bookstore and buy the paper copy damn it.
  4. Stop biking in the pouring rain because you might get hit by a car.
  5. Maybe also stop driving in the rain. Really ask yourself, has the bad driver been me all along?
  6. Stop telling people from California to move here.
  7. Make eye contact with homeless people in Pioneer Square.
  8. Stop asking your Tinder matches to go hiking with you.
  9. Quit smoking so much weed that it’s your personality.
  10. Exercise indoors to spice up your workout routine.
  11. Stop performative activism.
  12. Spend more time with headphones out of your ears.
  13. Spend less money on craft beer that you say you like because it’s “hoppy”.
  14. Find a hobby that does not involve wearing flannel.
  15. Support the link light rail and public transportation because our city is bursting at the seams.
  16. Be more aggressive (not passive aggressive).
